with Michael & KiyoshiOur afternoon journey begins by warming the body up with a series of Yin Yoga poses while accompanied by music played by Kiyoshi. These long-held, passive floor poses will open the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine, preparing the body for our deep Yoga Nidra relaxation experience.
Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed. Yoga Nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. The Handpan is the new age instrument invented in 2000 in Switzerland. The first maker got idea from the Caribbean instrument and the Indian instrument. It’s beautiful and soothing but sometimes very passionate and percussive sounds. |
